Other resources

In the course of the OER project, the team and the project partners have created a wealth of resources targeted at academics looking for support and guidance with releasing and repurposing their materials. These were developed during the collaborative project activity, centred around the project wiki (https://csapoer.pbworks.com/). The links below refer to the location of the resources and materials within the wiki.

Literature Review

The literature review page in our project wiki addresses issues related to sociology (of the) curriculum and offer theoretical framework for the project and its methodology.

Guidance for re-working materials

This page contains links to resources that could be helpful in the process of transforming and repurposing open educational resources. During the project lifetime, it functioned as a space for sharing best practice between project partners/ project team.

Questions for OER development

This page outlines the main set of questions which we used as part of our peer supported review methodology. The discussions were oriented around the wiki, in conjunction with a group meeting to discuss the issues arising.

Pedagogical frameworks

This page provides links to the rich discussion and debate amongst the project team about pedagogical frameworks to support releasing material in the social sciences, and questions of the intended users and what types of contextual information (tacit / known) about the ‘history’ of the materials is required to support discovery and re-use.

Web 2.0 affordances

At the outset of the project, the project team has developed an overview of features of web 2.0 platforms with a view to using some of them as repositories (in addition to JorumOpen). This page draws together information about Web 2.0 resources relevant to the C-SAP OER project.
